Edugate — Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Edugate’s website, products, and services. By accessing or using Edugate’s website, ordering products, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

  1. About Edugate
    Edugate provides phonics workbooks for children and related educational products. Our contact email is support@eg-tv.com.

  2. Scope
    These Terms govern purchases of physical products from Edugate’s website and use of related services. Separate terms may apply to digital products, subscriptions, or third-party services; those terms will be presented where applicable.

  3. Eligibility
    You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to place orders with Edugate. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

  4. Orders and Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product unavailability, errors in product information, suspected fraudulent activity, or problems with payment.
  • Prices, product descriptions, and availability are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel orders and notify you.
  1. Payment
  • Payment must be made using the payment methods listed at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method.
  • Taxes and shipping charges (where applicable) will be added to the order total and charged at checkout.
  1. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss
  • Shipping methods, delivery estimates, and shipping costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers.
  • Risk of loss or damage for items purchased from Edugate passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier, except where local law provides otherwise.
  1. Returns, Replacements & Refunds
  • Only sealed and unopened boxes are eligible for refund. Returns of sealed, unopened workbooks are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to inspection and these Terms.
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported to support@eg-tv.com within 7 days of delivery to request a replacement. For valid defect/damage claims made within 7 days, we will arrange a replacement at no cost. If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a full refund, including original shipping, at no extra cost.
  • To initiate a return or replacement, contact support@eg-tv.com with your order number, photos (for defective/damaged items), and a description of the issue. Approved returns will receive a return authorization number and shipping instructions.
  • For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless we provide a prepaid label. We may deduct the original shipping cost from refunds for non-defective returns.
  • We may charge a restocking fee of up to 15% for returns at our discretion. No restocking fee applies to defective returns or returns caused by our error.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned sealed, unopened item and will be issued to the original payment method.

  1. Personalized & Customized Products
    Personalized or customized workbooks (for example, printed with a child’s name) are final sale and cannot be returned except in cases of defect or material error by Edugate.

  2. Intellectual Property
    All content, trademarks, logos, and materials available on Edugate’s website and printed materials are the property of Edugate or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, noncommercial use of purchased products as intended.

  3. Use of Products
    Our phonics workbooks are designed for educational purposes. You agree to use them responsibly and under appropriate adult supervision for children. Edugate is not liable for misuse of materials.

  4. Warranty Disclaimer
    Except as expressly provided in these Terms and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Edugate disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We make no warranty that our products will meet every user’s expectations.

  5. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edugate and its affiliates and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your purchase or use of our products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our products will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

  6. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold Edugate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our products.

  7. Lost or Stolen Packages
    For orders shipped with tracking, packages are considered delivered once tracking shows delivery. If tracking shows delivery but you did not receive your package, contact the carrier first. If the carrier confirms loss or theft, contact support@eg-tv.com for assistance. Edugate is not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address provided by you.

  8. Gift Orders
    If an order was a gift, the original purchaser may initiate returns. If the purchaser is unavailable, contact support@eg-tv.com and we will assist with gift returns or exchanges where possible.

  9. Privacy
    Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

  10. Changes to Products, Prices & These Terms
    Edugate may change product offerings, features, prices, and these Terms at any time. Changes to these Terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after posting changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will not apply changes retroactively to completed purchases except where required by law.

  11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Edugate is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your purchase will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

  12. Severability
    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
